About Me

I was born in Pennsylvania and raised in the Czech Republic.
I grew up learning basic Czech and later German, developing a
fascination with languages, culture, and travel.
During my childhood, I was fascinated with science and understanding how things worked.
I also collected and constructed models with
LEGO bricks. I developed a passion for taking simple pieces
and combining them into something more complex.

I discovered programming in high school during a school project. I taught myself Java
and got my first job as a developer working for several Minecraft servers.
Shortly thereafter, I taught myself C# as well.
During the course of my college career, I worked for the campus computer center gaining practical
experience in providing help desk assistance and developing software by leveraging .NET, database
design, website design, and scripting.

SCUBA Diving
I began SCUBA diving in elementary school and earned my advanced open water diving license in 2014. I have logged over fifty dives and have dived in Egypt, Croatia, and various quarries around Czech Republic.
Community Service
I have participated in various community service programs and clubs, such as the Junák and Rotaract. I am commited to giving back to my community, wherever that may be, through clean-up projects, charity work, or church ministries.
Bearded Dragons
I have cared for two bearded dragons, Spike and Tales. Their spiked body and snake-like head may seem intimidating, but beardies are harmless and friendly.
